About the data
Kennel Stars is an independent guide. We list every licensed boarding business we can find, for free, and we are not paid by any of them.
Where it comes from
Business names and locations come from public listings. Star ratings and licence dates come from each council's published licence register, under the Open Government Licence. Prices, cat policies and vaccination rules come from each business's own website, checked 2 November 2026.

What we do not do
We never change or guess a council rating. If we cannot find a business on its council's register, we say so rather than show a rating. We do not show the home address of anyone who boards dogs in their own home.
Corrections, removals and new listings
Email hello@kennelstars.co.uk. If you run a business listed here, we will correct your details or add your prices. We check changes against your website or the council register before publishing.
